ABOUT US
In basketball, each player must be a creator. Players must be able to create opportunities. Players must be able to create driving lanes and create paths. Players must be able to create a shot. Players must be able to do all of this not just for themselves, but for others as well. Most importantly, players must understand that they must create their future on and off the court. Creating is an action that begins in the mind and then translates to reality. This mentality is the beginning. A player’s mentality shapes their vision. The vision is an athletic, skilled player without any holes in their game, and can play any style in any role. This is what we want all of our players to understand. Who are we? We are creators.
Coaches
Coaches Travis Divita, Taylor Statham, Alec Berryman, and Ron Harris are the head coaches of the program. Coach Statham is a current professional basketball players overseas and has been training players for years. Coach Divita is a former college basketball player with multiple professional basketball contract offers overseas and specializes in biomechanics and their application to sport. Coach Alec Berryman is also a former collegiate basketball player and spent time playing in Spain. Coach Ron Harris is a former collegiate basketball player and has been coaching for several years. Collectively, this program has every component to functionally run an organization at the highest level. From the coaching/training of basketball to exercise science aspects, to physical therapy/rehab/preventative maintenance- it is all covered!
Practices
We currently have practices Monday - Friday between our Elementary, Middle, and High School teams. Players practice two to three days times weekly in the gym or at Central Park. Team practices are at the Santa Clarita Athletic Club, College of the Canyons, or Central Park depending on the team and day of the week. Thursday practices include strength and conditioning where we focus on biomechanics and conditioning followed up by scrimmages in game like scenarios. Please refer to the calendar page to see exact practice schedule for each age group/team.
In regards to our Strength and Conditioning program, Coach Divita majored in Kinesiology with a Physical Therapy Emphasis in college and also received his Personal Training Certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine His philosophy involves correcting biomechanics while teaching functional training. If one is not moving correctly then that means their muscles will not be absorbing forces properly. If one’s muscles are not absorbing forces, then of course, their joints will. This education will be provided to players in order to increase athleticism and also reduce the risk of injury. Especially, those nagging injuries like tendonitis/tendinosis. Our goal is to teach the fundamental archetypes of human movement in order to create explosive athletes that do not get injured.
Games/Tournaments
We will be participating in 1-3 tournaments per month in Orange County, Los Angeles County, or Ventura County. We may even plan trips far in advance if parents are open to playing tournaments outside of SoCal such as in Las Vegas, San Diego, Phoenix, any beyond.

Effective February 1st, 2025, our program has the policy that prevents players from participating with AAU organizations within the city of Santa Clarita. We have implemented this clause to protect our players’ development, our program’s ability to function efficiently, to protect our staff, and to protect our business. Failure to comply will result in the removal from the program. This does not apply to training with outside trainers youth leagues, or AAU organizations outside of Santa Clarita. We would be happy to explain in further detail if you have any questions, comments, or concerns.
